This Privacy Policy explains how Miksmik ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use your Miksmik account to sign in to Miksmik apps on the web, mobile, or desktop.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the data needed to sign you in:

• Email and password: your email address and a cryptographically hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text. We do not collect your name, profile picture, or other personal details.
• Google Sign-In: when you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, your email address, and whether Google has verified that email.
• Device identifier: a platform-generated installation identifier (such as a Firebase Installation ID on Android or an identifier for vendor on iOS). We use it only to recognize your app installation, enable fast sign-in, and prevent unauthorized access to your account.
• Security logs: for security, we keep short-lived sign-in logs (IP address, browser/device info, time) for up to 30 days, then delete them.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data only to:

• Verify your identity and sign you in securely.
• Issue signed sign-in tokens to the Miksmik apps you use.
• Recognize your device for fast and secure sign-in.
• Protect your account and our service from abuse.

3. Google User Data

Data received from Google (account identifier, email address, and email verification status) is used only to sign you in and link your Google account to your Miksmik account. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. Your data is processed by our hosting and network providers only to operate the service.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard cryptographic practices to protect your data. Passwords and sign-in tokens are stored only in hashed form.
